This film is an extension to the work Thaon / New York by Stéphan Barron in 1987.

This 1990 video features black and white images from the slow-scan transmission and colour images from the project.

The original soundtrack comprises of sounds from Thaon / New York satellite transmission taken from a radio presentation that was broadcast on WNYC.
